Danish brown cookies with 03 Stout Spent Grain Flour

Here's how
- Heat the butter, sugar and syrup to boiling point. Dissolve the baking soda in the water and stir in. Cool the mixture until lukewarm.
- Mix the flour and spices in a separate bowl, sift and stir in with the almonds. Knead the dough well.
- Roll into approx. 5 cm thick bars. Wrap in baking paper and chill in a cool place - at least a couple of hours, but preferably until the next day.
- Cut into thin slices and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Bake for ca. 6 minutes at 175°C (top/bottom heat).
Tip
If you have refrigerated the dough, take it out a little before you plan to cut it. This will prevent the dough from crumbling when you cut it.Nutritional content
