This no-knead bread is incredibly easy to make - simply let it rise over night, and bake for a warm, crunchy, and delicious loaf in the morning!
-
Dissolve the yeast in the water. Stir until the mixture is cloudy and free of lumps.
-
Add the wheat flour and type 01 Agrain flour to the yeasty water. Mix gently with a fork until the ingredients are almost combined.
-
Sprinkle the salt over the dough. Mix further until the dough becomes sticky and forms a rough mass.
-
Cover the dough and leave it on the counter at room temperature for 1 hour.
-
Transfer the dough to the fridge and let it rest overnight.
-
Next Morning:
- Take the dough out of the fridge.
- Stretch it gently, then shape it into a ball.
- Allow it to rise at room temperature for 1 hour.
-
Bake with Steam:
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Create steam in the oven by adding water to a tray at the bottom or using a steam function, if available.
- Score the dough with a sharp knife.
- Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
