Vanilla wreath with 01 Spent Grain Flour

Here's how
- Mix wheat and 01 Spent Grain Flour together in a bowl.
- Crumble the butter into the flour.
- Scrape the seeds out of the vanilla pod and mix a little with the sugar to separate the seeds.
- Then add the vanilla seeds and sugar to the mixture and combine everything with the eggs - be careful not to overwork the dough.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 185 °C (top and bottom heat).
- Now it's time to shape the vanilla wreaths - either pass the dough through a meat grinder with the small star-shaped plate and cut the strips into ca. 10 cm long pieces, shaping them into wreaths or use a piping bag with a star-shaped tip to make round wreaths onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the vanilla wreaths in the oven for about 12 minutes.
- Let them cool on a wire rack - they will become crisp once completely cooled.
- Store them in an airtight container.
